CBD Changed My Life
I first discovered CBD when I was working in the high-stress, fast-paced
fashion industry. I had always suffered with anxiety, which in turn badly
affected my sleep and wellbeing. One day, a friend recommended I try
CBD and quite honestly, I’ve never looked back.
But I was deeply disappointed with the options out there. Not only were
the levels of CBD in products ineffective but they were really unpleasant
to use. The market was missing enjoyable CBD products that actually
worked. I wanted to design products that people would love using and
would become part of their everyday lives in a meaningful way. And
that’s why I decided to launch OTO, to help people discover the power
of CBD.

OTO is a family led wellness brand which launched in 2019after years of collaboration and development from world-class product scientists, including Dr Michael Haslam and Dr Ketan Joshi.

OTO uses only pure CBD isolate, which guarantees no traces of
controlled substances. We third-party test our products regularly
and work alongside a team of lawyers to ensure that our
products are, and always will be, entirely legal.
What Is CBD?
CBD (Cannabidiol) is a molecule found in hemp plants that matches one naturally produced by our own bodies in the endocannabinoid system.
The endocannabinoid system helps keep the body in balance, or, to use the technical term, homeostasis. It helps regulate sleep, mood and pain amongst other things; by communicating to neurone transmitters, cells and hormones to regulate back to their happy equilibrium.
If the endocannabinoid system is not functioning well, supplementing the body with cannabinoids, like CBD, can help with conditions, including anxiety, stress, pain, inflammation or any proliferated skin issues.
CBD can have different effects on different people, but there are no known negative side effects. Furthermore, it’s not addictive,
nor can you overdose on it.

CBD Skincare
CBD is absorbed by binding with cannabinoid receptors in the skin. Topically, it actively regenerates skin cells, reduces inflammation, and balances any skin conditions that are proliferated or differentiated - e.g. hormonal skin, oily skin, dry skin.
CBD also provides a missing particle which bonds with free radicals, limiting their potential to cause DNA damage, and also helps to combat oxidative stress which assists in the prevention of skin ageing and inflammation.
The OTO beauty range isn’t just skin-deep, it’s about beauty inside and out. And when it comes to CBD Skincare, we don’t believe in skin types.
OTO CBD products combine high concentrations of the best quality CBD isolate with terpene rich essential oils which help deliver maximum absorption of the CBD into our skin.
